Together, Plant the Space Your Yard Deserves

Amanda designs the planting, Colton's teams build the stonework, and the garden center on Dollarway Road supplies both.

Every yard has a beautiful version waiting in it

Many homeowners can picture it, yet too many have spent money on a yard that never came together: a shade plant set in full sun, a walk that holds water after every storm, beds that never fill in. Amanda's Villa plans every yard around its light, soil and slope, so the work only has to be done once.

Amanda designs every yard and plants it with her crew

Amanda's name is on the sign, and she is on every landscaping job. She walks each yard in person, measures it, notes where the sun falls and where the shade sits, and draws a planting plan for that yard alone.

Homeowners bring her a magazine page, a picture of a neighbor's yard or an image on their phone. She works out how to make that look grow in Arkansas, and when something in the picture won't survive here, she says so plainly and suggests what will.

Her plans draw on the Amanda's Villa garden center, where many plants come in three or four varieties to choose between. Her crew plants the job, or she hands over the plan and the plants to anyone who would rather do the digging.

Colton is the hardscape master behind every patio and wall

Colton leads the hardscape teams at Amanda's Villa. His crews build paver patios, walkways, structural and flower bed retaining walls and French drains, and every one starts with a transit survey of the ground it sits on.

His standard is the part no one sees: eight to ten inches of compacted gravel under every patio, a finer leveling course on top and polymeric sand locking the joints. He designs each project the way he would want it at his own home, then works it to the customer's budget without cutting the base.

That standard holds on the biggest jobs too, including a hillside retaining wall in Hot Springs that holds back more than 80 tons of gravel.

"If I'm doing it for a living, I want to be proud of it."

  2. A trench staked and flagged for a new paver walk during layout

    Amanda and Colton design it

  3. The same corner finished with a mulched bed of shrubs and a stone block border

The crews plant and build it

The landscaping crew plants the beds and the hardscape teams build the patios, walks and walls, each staying until the job is done.

A yard you're proud to pull into

Beds that are still full in August, a patio that's still level after the spring storms, and a front yard that finally looks like the people who live there. Every plan Amanda and Colton draw is aimed at that one result for your home.
